Trade Standards Verification Council exists to help homeowners and businesses identify contractors who commit to clear workmanship, communication and customer care standards.
We believe that customers deserve to know whether the contractor they are hiring has been independently checked and has formally committed to professional standards. TSVC provides a searchable register where anyone can verify a contractor's status.

What TSVC Verification Means
TSVC verification means a contractor has submitted their details, provided evidence of insurance, accepted our standards declaration, and had their customer care processes reviewed.
It does not guarantee the quality of future work, nor does it constitute a warranty or financial guarantee. It is a standards-based verification that indicates the contractor has met our published criteria at the time of verification.
